This Shredded Dad Doing Bodyweight Workouts With His Toddler Son Has Gone Viral

This single dad’s bodyweight workouts with his toddler son, have gone viral, racking up tens of millions of views in a matter of months. Posted on Facebook, the video shows Cirque du Soleil performer Wayne Skivington complete impressive feats of strength, all while his son tags along for a piggy back ride.

Skivington, one of the ripped performers in Cirque du Soleil’s, went viral in his latest video showing off his fantastic physique and wearing very little, while he incorporates his little boy in his training and exercise workout.

The video in which the ripped dad is performing a bodyweight workout as well as his relationship with his son made the video a perfect sharing material.

Since then, the 28 year Skivington regularly posts his workouts on his Instagram account, and has gained well over 30 000 new followers. “The dad is always the guy who throws the kid up in the air — I just take it to the next level” – he says.

“It was by sheer fluke one day while videoing like most parents do for our own pleasure I realised Rowan was copying me working out. He loves attempting to do what daddy does” Wayne told Daily Mail.

Wayne dropped out of university and joined the circus when he was 20 years old.  He was studying for a sports coaching degree at Leeds Metropolitan University when he was offered a role in the Cirque du Soleil in Las Vegas.

He has bee involved with gymnastics almost his whole life, or to be precise, since he was 4 years old – the same age as his son in the videos.

Today he performs acrobatic feats twice a day, five times a week with his partner in the Zumanity Cirque du Soleil production. Many of his Instagram fans have reached out to him, telling him he’s an inspiration to parents. He says he will continue to post videos with his son in hopes that they can help others.
