#3. MAKE THE DIET YOUR LIFESTYLE
People who want to lose weight usually want to do it as fast as they can. They choose diets that promise instant results without any effort. The harsh truth is that losing weight takes time. After all, those pounds didn’t just happen to came overnight. And although some of them do deliver results, they are less then effective in the long run. The truth of the matter is that most of these diets trigger a yo-yo effect, and when you stop dieting, the weight bounces back. The trick is to stay on the diet.
The best approach is to start changing your eating beahaviour. Change your habits. You don’t need to deprive yourself of food to lose weight. Begin by eliminating foods that tend to put on fat. Start decreasing your rations gradually, instead of skipping them altogether. This is much more effective approach in the long run.
Just remember that losing weight takes time. Only then are the changes substantial.
#4. NEVER SKIP BREAKFAST
Many people who want to lose weight start by skipping their breakfast. It’s a common misconception that this will speed up your metabolism, making you burn more calories throughout the day. The effect is just the opposite.
The correlation between consuming fewer calories during the day after eating breakfast has been proven by a number of studies. One of the reasons for this might be that when you skip breakfast you can feel hungrier at lunch, which may result in overeating. Another negative aspect of skipping breakfast is that it may affect your energy levels, which are required for doing the exercises for burning the body fat and gaining muscles. And although skipping breakfast may not always backfire with increased weight, the fact that you lack the energy for exercising may reflect negatively on your efforts. After all, if we stick to the premise that losing weight is burning more calories than you eat, then exercising is for sure your best help in achieving your goal. So don’t go depriving your body of the fuel needed to workout. Just remember to count what you eat.
#5. DON’T TRUST THE LABELS
The modern chemistry is so advanced that it can mimic any kind of flavour. However, the chemists cannot mimic what mother nature provides. Healthy ingredients. The markets are fool of products which are labelled as fat free and sugar free. The truth is that they are fool of artificial chemicals that can be very harmful for our bodies causing gastrointestinal problems and even diabetes. So don’t always trust what you read on the label. These things are designed to trick you into thinking that you buy what you need. That is why it’s always better to go for organic food.
