There are fitness experts preaching that cardio will kill your chances of building muscle and that weight training is just as good for keeping your heart and lungs in prime condition. Who are they kidding?
Pure bodybuilding is actually useless for your cardiovascular system and lungs.You may feel like you just ran a marathon after your weight training session,but believe me this is far from optimal cardio workout.Even if you are skinny and your goal is to build muscle,you should include cardio in your routine.
Our bodies are meant to move.Just think of how you feel after a cardio session.Your muscles are warm and flexible, the blood is pumping through your body, providing oxygen and nutrients to the muscles. You feel energized and confident.
