Belinda Norton, 45, from Australia, struggled with obesity all her life, and then managed to lose 19 kilograms.
This teacher is very popular on Instagram, and she became popular for her fitness story and weight loss tips. Until the age of 35, she struggled with excess weight and cellulite.
“I always tried to lose weight with rigorous diets and I managed to lose 5-6 kilograms, but after a month the kilograms just came back. It took me a long time to realize that fad diets are not the key to good looks. “If you want to look good, you have to eat, but also choose the right foods.”
Her diet is based on lean meats, vegetables, fruits and large amounts of water she drinks daily.
She also trains at least twice a week and recommends weight training instead of cardio.
“Try to run less and do less cardio training. “I found that running too much was counterproductive to my body shape.”
“Basically all women think that with endless cardio training they will lose the most weight, but this is simply not true. Resistance exercises produce much better results. This way, you melt the excess body-fat and at the same time you increase and shape your muscle mass.
“Once I started practicing this type of exercise (resistance training), I put my weight in order.”
The recipe for a slim line is not difficult, Norton claims.
“If you want to get rid of fat and cellulite, ‘throw yourself’ into strength training and body shaping,” she concludes.
