This arrest comes after a prior scandal in late 2024, when a video purportedly showing Watson beating a person at Elevation Fitness went viral.
According to reports, he was armed at the time of the encounter. After being charged with simple assault/battery, a misdemeanor, Watson was first taken into custody on December 29, 2024, but he was later freed.
Watson responded to the incident by sharing a video on Instagram, saying that a taller, more aggressive person challenged him at the gym and that he defended himself throughout the confrontation.

He emphasized that things got out of control after the person insisted on fighting, but he denied any intention to intensify the violence.
“He was AT LEAST a foot taller than me and not some normal lookin dude. He was a STREET LOOKING MFER. I TRIED to talk em out of the FIGHT but he insisted and it did NOT go as he planned. This was COMPLETE SELF DEFENSE.”
According to Watson, the person was “badly injured” and the gym’s management summoned both the police and an ambulance. However, people that saw the video online react differently than Watson:
“Fake ‘alpha male’ Wes Watson beats up man who allegedly has special needs.”
“Everyone’s favorite scammer, Wes Watson, allegedly beats up a special needs man after inviting any of his “haters” to come to his gym and fight him,” commented a different user.
“Blatant assault. F*ck Wes a real alpha doesn’t do that,” wrote another user.
Wes Watson has a lengthy history with the criminal justice system and works as a fitness coach. “London Real” report claims that he was exposed to the criminal world at a very young age.
Wes was born in 1983, and by the time he was 14, he also allegedly started distributing c*nnabis. Among other offenses, he was found guilty of robbery, burglary, assault with a deadly weapon, and violence with serious bodily damage.
He claims that his imprisonment served as an inspiration for his podcast. Wes also appeared in the movie “The Colony” and the television program “Hooked On The Look”.
Wes reportedly made the decision to change his course in life after being released from prison in 2018. According to a story in The US Sun, he married tattoo artist Valerie in 2019. Wolfie and Xavier, Valerie’s two sons, were being co-parented at the time. However, a few years later in 2022, the couple divorced.
