In barely thirty seconds, Eddie Hall, the British Strongman (and world record deadlift holder) defeated Pudzianowski, World Cchampion strongman, turned MMA. Early on, it appeared that Hall’s small right hand was causing Pudzianowski problems.
In an attempt to buy himself some time to recover, the Polish powerlifter attempted a takedown, but Hall threw him hard to the mat and then poured on right hands for the finish.
After years of being on a collision path, Hall and Pudzianowski finally squared off tonight in a 600-pound fight. As he makes his transition into the MMA cage, the British fighter now appears to want to take on more difficult tasks.
Even though Eddie Hall doesn’t have Mariusz Pudzianowski’s MMA background, he demonstrated at KSW 105 on Saturday that strength and stature can compensate for many other shortcomings.
It was an amazing demonstration of Hall’s ability to blast through in bursts, even though his technique left much to be desired. He appeared to inflict critical damage with the first shot he landed, throwing his opponent off balance early and causing him to stumble.
After the fight, Pudzianowski claimed he was hit in the back of the head and could not get well. He was occasionally clipped behind the head on the replays, but it appeared to be an accident as Hall was immediately launching punches with reckless abandon.
In the battle, Hall’s weight advantage of almost 70 pounds appeared to be the largest difference. Despite claiming to have lost weight for the fight, the British heavyweight claimed to weigh 334 pounds, which gave him a clear advantage over Pudzianowski, who weighed 267 pounds.

Hall’s lone prior cage appearance was a 2v1 “Freak Fight” against the featherweight influencer brothers, the Neffati twins. Since they were all lighter than he was, he was able to knock out both brothers at once.
