Even at 62, Dorian Yates Looks Jacked During a Beach Training Session

Dorian Yates was unquestionably the most dominant player in the IFBB Pro League back in the day. Yates not only dashed the hopes of numerous open class competitors, but he also overcame multiple ailments, including torn biceps and triceps, to establish an unparalleled legacy.

High-profile bodybuilders are still inspired by his gritty muscular hardness. Yates’ commitment to longevity and health sustains him in retirement. “The Shadow” emphasizes the value of physical health with references to stem cell therapy, yoga, and Pilates training.

Former six-time Mr. Olympia Dorian Yates recently shared a photo of himself on Instagram, posing in the sun at the beach and flaunting his timeless figure during a training session with his daughter.

Being fit at 62 is no small task, but fortunately Yates has shared with us how he overcame this difficult obstacle. He has disclosed his training schedule, which he claims consists of just one upper body and one lower body workout each week. By the looks of him, Yates is obviously doing something right because he seems so vital, well built and full of energy.

Despite being one of the most successful Mr. Olympias ever to retire, Yates is never afraid to bring up the Men’s Open division in conversation. Athletes at the upper echelons of the Open class, in his opinion, lack forearm and calf definition. He has also discussed why using your phone while working out is the worst thing you can do to slow down your development.
