After participating in a binge-eating challenge where he attempted to acquire more than 50 pounds and then drop it in order to market his new weight-loss program, a fitness coach suffered a fatal cardiac arrest.
In an attempt to acquire more than 50 pounds, Dmitry Nuyanzin, a fitness coach and influencer from the Russian city of Orenburg, consumed 10,000 calories every day for weeks.
As part of a “marathon” challenge, Nuyanzin consumed junk food for weeks in the hopes of motivating his clients to lose weight with him.
According to translations from Russian social media posts, he intended to use his new diet regimen to reduce his weight, according to Daily Mail.
As part of his challenge, Nuyanzin had put on almost thirty pounds in just one month. He had pledged to give $100 to anyone who used his program and lost 10% of their body weight by the end of the year. He added on what looked to be his Instagram account:
“My WEIGHT LOSS COURSE is starting soon, where you can win cool prizes and, most importantly, build a beautiful body, learn how to eat and have fun!” “I’m going to be losing weight with my minions, so this will be twice as exciting!”
He said that he was over 230 pounds on November 18 in a social media post.
Nuyanzin canceled training sessions the day before he passed away, telling pals that he was feeling under the weather and intended to visit a doctor. Nuyanzin’s heart failed while he slept.
His dramatic, high-calorie daily diet consisted of cake and pastries for breakfast, mayonnaise-covered dumplings for lunch, and a burger and two little pizzas for dinner.
“I had half a cake and a plate of pastries for breakfast. He had stated, “I usually eat 800 grams [nearly 2 lbs.] of dumplings with mayonnaise for lunch.” “During the day, I may snack on crisps, and for dinner, I have a burger and two small pizzas, either at a cafe or delivered.”
Nuyanzin, a graduate of the National Fitness University in St. Petersburg and the Orenburg Olympic Reserve School, spent ten years working as a personal coach.
